The Storm Peak Aerosol and Cloud Characterization Study 2008 (SPACCS08) took place at the Storm Peak laboratory from March 24 - April 15, 2008. The goals of the study are to evaluate the chemical composition of the atmospheric aerosol, investigate the biological particles in the atmosphere, and to explore relationships between the aerosols and clouds at the high altitude site. This project is part of the BEACHON program to investigate the interactions between the biosphere, the atmosphere, and the hydrosphere. This project was also funded in part by the Nordic/US Biogenic Secondary Organic Aerosols Workshop Series.
